New hard drive issues

So I recently added a second hard drive to my PC, and everything has worked perfectly up until then. The rest of my programs and everything else on my computer have given me no issues, other than Lightroom. All of my photos have been migrated successfully, but lightroom is struggling to work. It's slow, I keep getting a "not responding" message, and it took me over an hour just to add some of my Lightroom presets and quick edits to 10 pictures, when it normally takes me 10 minutes to do that. Is this a common issue with adding a second hard drive? Anyone have any advice? And lastly, should I just bite the bullet and uninstall Lightroom and reinstall it and migrate all of my pictures into it again?

That is definitely not common at all and probably not even related to the second hard drive. Your reference to "migrating" makes me worried you have installed Lightroom Desktop which is a completely different program than Lightroom Classic. Lightroom Desktop stores all images in the cloud and if your interenet connection is not very fast, it can cause your slowness. Lightroom Classic stores all images on local drives.
