New 'People" mode

I am hoping that in the latest LRc that we can turn off 'People' mode which is now in the toolbar left side group. I never want LRc trying to identify people for me, I also personally do not want a People subsection in the keywords.

If you click on the people icon in the library module, I believe you will find the option to turn off face detection. I don't have face detection enabled in LrC on my computer, and when I click on that icon I have the option to enable face detection.
