New Rename, Custom Settings - Slow down in workflow for custom naming

In the latest release (10.4) the new Custom Settings to rename a photo slow down the workflow. Used to be a single field to fill in to add a custom name. The new way is more versatile, but I can't double click on the name to highlight the whole name. I have to manually click and drag select. This has added a lot of time to our workflow.

Adobe... please consider a better way to address this. Thanks

Sounds like you are not creating your own filename rename preset.

I'm not sure that I understand your issue, especially since Rename and associated options hasn't changed in a very long time. May be you could share a few screenshots showing what you believe has changed.

Let me clarify a bit more about what I said in the original post. Basically, this new method is overly cumbersum and has added 3+ additional clicks to the workflow.
