New Update deleted catalog

I used my lightroom this morning at 8:30 with no issues, and at 9am it did an update and completely cleared my catalog with ALL OF MY WEDDINGS and work from the last weeks (not backed up recently). 

 

Each time it relaunches, it's opening a catalog from like 5 years ago, and I cant find my recent work anywhere. I've spent the last 30 min sobbing... someone please help

Upgrades do not delete catalogs, so Lightroom simply must have loaded an old one. Search your computer for files with the .lrcat extension.

 

(I move this to the Lightroom Classic forum, because it is clear you use that version, not the cloud version)
