Nikon D850 and Sony XQD

Question

Help, I just picked up a Nikon D850 and am using the sony XQD and Lightroom seems to not reconise the files and I get the no preview avaiable. How do import. from the D850 into Lightroom? Is my Lightroom verision of 5.7 to old?

The D850 requires at least Lightroom 6.13.

Lr 6 is no longer for sale, and the latest version, Lightroom Classic 11.5, is only available by subscribing to the Photography Plan. (10 US dollars or equivalent a month). This also includes Photoshop.

Alternatively, you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert (copies of) your NEF files to DNG files that you can import in Lr 5.7. Read the instructions carefully.
