Question

Nikon Z6 Magenta Tint

Hello,

I photograph with a Nikon Z6. Depending on the situation, I typically set the in-camera WB to Auto or Auto Natural Light. I consistently get a magenta tint while in LR Classic. I do a fairly good job editing it out but it's still slightly noticeable. I have looked through the Adobe Community Page and any resources related to this topic lead me to the Home Adobe Community Page, not the post related to the magenta tint.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? It's been frustrating for me.

Change your setting in Preferences->Presets for Raw defaults to "Camera Settings". For already imported photos, hit reset after this or apply the camera settings preset from the left panel. What you are seeing is that there are subtle differences in rendering between the default Adobe camera profile and the profile that matches the camera.

Thank you, Jao! I will give that a try.
