Question

No photos found

My last iPhone photo import was on Christmas Day (25 Dec 2025). Today, a LIghtroom Classic import either identifies a very small number of year+ old photos that have already been imported or says “no photos found’; it’s inconsistent. I am on an old iMac (late 2015) running the latest macOS supported by that hardware (Monterey 12.7.6) and Lightroom Classic 13.5.1.

This is a new problem.

I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to get things working again.

Hello,

I’m having this same problem. Never happened before after many previous imports without issue. Did you get it resolved?

I really need help.

When I connect my iPhone and try to Import photos, only 159 photos are shown as candidates. All of these have previously been imported and none of them are recent (the newest of these is from 24 Aug 2024). The results are the same whether I choose New Photos or All Photos. There are 7,598 Items in my iPhone Library. As I said in my original post, the last successful import from from 25 Dec 2025 and I’ve taken 169 or more photos since then.

Please give me some suggestions as to how to get Lightroom Classic to recognize All Photos, New Photos, and give me the ability to Import photos again.

You don’t really state clearly the question you are asking. Is the problem that you expect more photos to be found? Please provide explanation and detail.

@dj_paige, I have taken 169 photographs since 25 Dec 2026. I expect those photographs to be discovered as “New Photos” and available for “Copy”ing into Lightroom when I launch an Import. This is the overriding concern.

Apologies for the poor post title; I thought I’d be able to edit it but I can’t edit or delete.
