No updates available (although there is a new version)

Hi everyone,

Today I updated Lightroom and Photoshop to version 7.3 on my MacBook Air (running the latest version of OSX High Sierra) through Creative Cloud, but then I went to my desktop iMac (running the latest version of OSX Sierra) and Creative Cloud doesn't show any updates.

I tried relaunching Creative Cloud, logging off an on again to my account, even restarted the computer, but it simply won't show any updates. And yes, I have confirmed that both Lightroom and Photoshop on my iMac are still in the previous version.

Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas what I should try to fix it?

Thank you so much.

Did you double-check that you are still logged in via the CC App, as I suggested?

    Hi JohanEl54,

Yes, did that. After trying a few suggestions the only thing that solved it was to uninstall and reinstall the apps. Now I have the latest versions.

Not sure what caused this, but it's solved now.

Thank you all for trying to help.

If you are not a Subscriber to the Photography plan do NOT install any Newer versions of LR.

Also If you are using Mac OS X and you do not have a version of OS X above 10.11.x do not install a newer version of LR or even any Updates.

Open LR and go to the Help menu and select System Info and post the exact version number for LR you are using.

    Hi Just Shoot Me,

I am a subscriber to the Photography plan, so that shouldn't be the problem. Also, the iMac is running the latest version of Sierra, which is 10.12.6, so it shouldn't be the problem either.

I'm not near the iMac right now, so I can't check the exact version of Lightroom installed at the moment, but it should be the latest version before the one released today, as I keep it updated through CC.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thank you so much.

In the upper right corner of the Creative Cloud app, you see three dots. Click on it to get a menu, where you can force the app to check for updates again.

    Hi JohanEl54,

That's the thing, the "Check for app updates" is grayed out in CC on the iMac.

Anything else I should look for?

    Thank you so much.

Sounds like you are not logged in via the CC App.
