Question

None of my batch changes all of a sudden will work in Lightroom Classic CC?

Since yesterday I've been trying to "paste settings" as a batch and only the first image in the batch will have the changes applied. I also tried to "flag" a batch of images. Again, only the first image in the batch will have the flag applied. I haven't changed a thing and have no idea why this feature suddenly won't work. Using Lightroom Classic CC (8.2.1) and have never has this issue before. It just always worked and a big reason why I started and continued to work with Lightroom.

Any ideas?

If you're in Loupe view, with a single photo showing (either in Library or Develop), setting flags or pasting settings only affects the currently display photo, even if you have many photos selected in the film strip.  This is by design (a design that many users don't like).

Go to grid view in Library before doing these batch operations.

I was in Grid view in Library and went to Develop module. Develop module has me in Loupe view which I cannot seem to get out of and batch processing is not working on the batch. Am I missing something. I've been working like this for years with no issues?

Develop doesn't provide grid view -- only Library.  So to get to grid view, go to the Library module and do View > Grid.  Or use the keyboard shortcut "g" to go directly from any mode/view directly to Library grid view.

(Nothing has changed with respect to the batch behavior in many years.)
