# of .lrtemplate files does not equal # available?

I have a folder containing 16 .lrtemplate files though when I install them I only have 8 available. Just curious, is this normal, or might there be something wrong with my files?

OK, that means they are the correct type for your older version. So are you sure that these are all develop presets? Maybe some of them are other type of presets, such as local adjustment presets. These must be installed in another folder and will then be available in local adjustments (adjustment brush, radial filter, graduated filter).
