OK to delete previous lightroom versions?

Hi- I have a quick question.   I am working with Lightroom Classic version 8, but have several older versions on my desktop, specifically Lightroom 2, Lightroom 4 , and Lightroom 4 Catalog.  Before deleting them, I just want to confirm that doing so won't impact losing my photos and previous editing.  I believe not, but I would like to confirm before doing so!  Thank you.

It is completely safe to delete old versions of the Lightroom program. New versions are not dependent on older ones for anything. You might want to consider keeping the Lightroom 4 catalog stored somewhere just in case you need to have a backup at some point, at least until you have several good backups from using Classic.
