old version of LR ver6 won't launch

Hi! I had an old version of LR ver6 installed on an old laptop. The laptop has given up the ghost. I reinstalled on my new Windows 11 desktop. Installed OK, but on launch it is going through the registration process. I registered it when I purchased it, and it's in my products in my account.

Any ideas how to get out of this loop? Thanks

I should have added, after its taken me through the verification process, the status changes inviting me to agree to the terms and conditions. After pressing accept, the box disappears, but nothing happens. If I then run the ExE from the LR directory or the shortcut on the desktop, it takes me through the signup process.

Does it start working after that? When I run lightroom.exe, I am prompted to sign in. It then asks me to accept the license terms. Once I click on the "Accept" button, the window disappears. and nothing else happens. When I try again to run Lightroom, the process repeats.

No, it is stuck in the loop.
