Only SOME photos exporting drastically different than shows in Develop Mode, after last update

Hi all!

I'm a wedding photographer and have been using LR for years now. Recently I just updated to the latest update (13.5 I guess?) and afterwards, some of my exported photos have been exporting quite differently than I edited them. There are about 1900 photos in the catalog and it only happens to the last 400 photos or so, and only SOME of them. Some of the exported edits are drastically different; some are only subtly different in which the photos have signifiantly more grain than intended, and less contrasty. It's weird because the rest of the catalog exports perfectly the same, so there's definitely a problem with only those specific photos. Last couple times this happened (years ago), I contacted Adobe and usually spend about 2 hours only for them to screen share and press a bunch of buttons and tell me they don't know what the problem is, every single time. So I'm hoping there might be some answers here.

 

Has anyone else had this problem after the recent update, and figured out a solution?

    Do you still see a difference when viewing the images at 100%?

    Noise/noise reduction and sharpness/sharpening must be assessed/applied at 100% view.

    This is the only view that gives you a true impression of the image – one image pixel is represented by one screen pixel.

    Any other view will be inaccurate and misleading because the image has been scaled.

    This also applies to exported images.

     

    Are you on Mac or Windows?

    In what application are you viewing the exported files?

    I'm also confused by the naming of your screenshots, do images also display differently in Library and Develop?

     

    In the future, please do not attach screenshots, use the Insert Photos button in the toolbar to embed them in your posts.

    I'm confused also, as here the "Develop" version looks clearly better.

    I'm guessing it's the exported version?

     

    I have noticed sometimes that the library preview seems to be created from a much lower resolution.

    Effects like noise reduction or grain look completely off in this preview; I have to zoom in and out, to have something accurate.

    With grain it's quite noticeable, it's like you tripled the grain size.

    Ah sorry, I'm completely new here and didn't know how to embed the posts better to explain them. Develop photos is how I edited them; library photos are how they are exported (how i do not want them to be). They get exported with significantly more grain and less contrast, and sometimes with a couple stops of exposure higher.

     

    The weird thing is that the disparity only happens on SOME photos; the majority of the 1900-photo catalog view accurately no matter if you view it in Develop or Library mode, full screen or not. It's only the last 400 photos in the catalog or so.
