How to open 2 photos as layers from the lightroom to photoshop !!  Stop working..??
It is so frustrating to have issues again and again, when you have something you need to finish and know it will only take 5 min !! If it was working .!!
I can't open my computer without there is an update to Adobe !!! Why not test it Before you let it out in the open !! There are some who don't have time to sit and fight the issues. !!

What happened if you try to open ONE image in Photoshop by using "Edit in Photoshop..."? Does this works?

If you have installed the Beta version of Photoshop this can be also a reason for the issue. Try to deinstall the Beta by using the Creative Cloud desktop client. In several cases it can be necessary to reinstall the normal Photoshop version.

Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Application to uninstall Photoshop. When asked, keep preferences! After this reinstall Photoshop again.

Why you can't start your computer at this point? The message that there's an update for Adobe application(s) are available comes up after the computer is running and the CC client is loaded. You can ignore his message if you don't like install the updates yet or you disable the auto update checking as @JohanElzenga wrote.

Do you have a beta copy of PS installed in addition to the latest release version?

Disable auto updates in the CC app if you do not want your apps to update automatically.
