Open LR 7 catalogue with LR 5.7.1

I tried to open my LR Classic CC catalogue with LR 5.7.1 but I get the message that the LR Classic CC is to new to open wih LR 5 . Is there a way to work arounds this? Reason for this is that I want to cancel my subscription en start using my old LR 5.7.1 because I am nog doing very much with my photo's at the moment.

    There is no workaround. Your LR Classic CC cannot be opened in LR 5.

    To use your Lightroom 5.7.1, you'd need to have Lightroom Classic CC write the metadata to XMP, and then import the photos into Lightroom 5.7.1. Some items cannot be transferred this way: collections, virtual copies, edit history, edits that were made using features not present in LR 5.7.1, pick flags and a few other things that I can't remember right now.
