'Open photos as layers in Photoshop...' not working properly on Mac

I have version 2015.10 and still have the same problem, trying to open three images as layers from lightroom and it does not work! See the attached image for what I end up with in Photoshop.  I'm using macOS 10.12.6

    Try updating to the latest version which is LRCC2015.12

    The update for Mac can be downloaded directly from this link:
