Opening asn image in LrC

Question

LrC stops responding when I try opening a .tif image in LrC. I am either dropping the file in or clicking import images both do the same. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does it. I converted the file to .png and it still does it.

Operating system? LrC version? Is it just one photo, or any? Does it import files normally from a flash card? Assuming you're importing these TIF or png from a hard drive, how many hard drives are attached, are any of them external? Could one of these be malfunctioning? Have you restarted the computer?
