Question

Organizing and finding Presets?

I have a VERY long list of presets that display under User Presets, and it is very hard to find what I am looking for.

1. Is there a way to search for a preset?

2. Is there a way to better organize my presets so they are in folders that can expand and collapse?

3. Is there something else I should be doing?

Thanks

Not easy to do what you ask!  For some ideas to assist read- Especially the Chapter starting at-  'Organising the Lightroom Presets Folder in v7.3 or Later'. https://lenscraft.co.uk/photo-editing-tutorials/tutorial-organizing-lightroom-presets/

Then check out a great plugin to help mirror disk folder structure to Preset Group structure from John Ellis- (Thanks John!)

Fix Presets Lightroom Plugin

There is no search function for Presets, but the 'Favorites' Group can be useful to store your most used presets. ([Right-click] a preset to add it to this Group.). Or create you own Groups of Presets (First create a Group- as in the lenscraft link, then drag presets onto this Group).

Hint- If you name preset Groups with a Number Prefix they sort chronologically-
