Question

Over Saturated Lightroom Export

I'm having an issue with exporting files from LR to a JPG. The LR edit is perfect, but when I export it to a jpg, it's extremely oversaturated. I'm exporting with Color Space - sRGB toggled, I've messed with the 'Quality' slider in LR, tried exporting it to PSD, PNG, etc., and they all turn out extremely oversaturated. I tried opening the exported jpg in Chrome, PS, back into LR, etc and they're all overly saturated. My Mac isn't set to Wide Gamut either, so I know that isn't the issue!

*I attached a screenshot of my LR photo and the exported jpg as well*

Has anyone run into this + been able to fix it? Any help is appreciated!

The application you view this JPEG (outside of LR) seems like it isn't color managed, and that's the main problem here. Saving in sRGB isn't at all a solution; non-color-managed applications have no idea what sRGB is (that takes color management).

Try opening in Safari, which is color managed; match or mismatch?

Also ONLY compare in Develop module at 1:1 zoom or greater, not in other modules  zoomed out. You can only examine for a match in Develop to other color managed applications at the same zoom ratio (1:1/100%).

I did a quick export test of a recent head shot with these settings and the jpg was spot on. How are you viewing your exported jpg? In the finder or Preview or Photoshop?
