Overlay for Printing

I have a png file that I'm trying to use as an overlay.
The idea is a photobooth at my work christmas party, and I am shooting tethered to lightroom.

Ideally, the photos are going to show up on the template, and then easily hit print. I cannot figure out how to get the png as the overlay. When i make it a watermark graphic, it just goes over the selected image, instead of it getting added into the cell spot. Anyone know how to get the png file to show up overtop of the whole page rather than one cell image?

The trick is to use this image as a watermark in a Picture package or custom Package layout that has the correct dimensions for your prints. Load the image into the watermark. Set its scale to 100%. Uncheck the two options for rendering behind the image and rendering on every image. Then position the three images to just behind the openings.

For that type of work you need Photoshop or Photoshop Elements or some other pixel-based editor.
