Command - B, Add to Target Collection is no longer working reliably. Is anyone else having this problem with Lightroom Classic 13.4?

Yes, still, Feb 2025.

I had thought it was because I had a large sync set, since it started with v13 and the new sync logic.

I recently tested with sync turned off, and it's still impossibly slow.  I think about 10 minutes - and sadly it queues, so if you see that it didn't take and hit B again, it may queue remove from collection!

For me, the first B add to collection works immediately.  Then it starts to take 30-100 seconds.  After about 5 uses, it becomes effectively "forever".

Incidentally, this exactly matches the behavior of Paste (Develop) Settings - the first time it's immediate.  Then it becomes delayed, and soon enough infinitely delayed, but only when the affected photograph is in a synced collection (whether sync is on or paused).

These have both been issues since v13.

If I put on my developer hat, I suspect something like creation of increasingly large database commit/rollback datasets, which queue or pend upon a sync roundtrip completing.  Perhaps someone inside will see this and have an aha!

I'm having problems using the B key or clicking on the circle in the upper right corner. The only way to move photos to the atrget collection is by dragging them. This started recently.

That's exactly what I'm experiencing. It was always instantaneous before.

I have noticed similar behavior. There is a lag ranging randomly from a second to over a minute between the time I press B and the actual add to the library.
