Question

P: Crash on zoom (9581126)

Unfortunately I updated to a "banana-version" of LRC. I am no longer workable. Zooming to 33% results in an application crash. Using the new advertised AI-feature for removing distractions, the progress stops reproducible at 75%.

I want the very stable and working older version back. How can I organize a rollback? All answers are welcome! My OS is Windows 10.

Hi all,

We are happy to announce the release of Lightroom Classic 13.3.1, which incorporates the fix for this particular problem. To see the list of all fixed issues, click here

To update Lightroom Classic to 13.3.1, click "Update" in the Creative Cloud desktop app next to Lightroom Classic. More detailed instructions for updating

Let us know if the update resolves the problem for those affected, and share your feedback.

Thanks,

Mohit

@Peter37670902kedl, you have graphics drivers that are incompatible with LR 13.3. Do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

Addendum:

Found the procedure to execute the rollback to LRC 13.2. What a difference, everything is working smoothly again (and faster again!).

Important to users: LRC catalogs created with the new release 13.3 are incompatible and unreadable with older versions. It seems that 13.3 incorporates major changes in the core engine etc. in contrary to the appearance of a minor change (from 13.2 to 13.3).
