Bug report template:

Issue: Hair selection in LRc v. 12

  • Lightroom Classic Version Number: 12
  • OS Version Number: Win. 10


Steps to reproduce:

  1. Find a photo of a person with hair, beard and mustache
  2. In develop module, select the masking tool - people will be detected
  3. Click on the circle denoting the person. Now check the hair checkbox at the end of the list

Expected result: 

All the hair and the beard and the mustache should be selected.
Actual result:

Not all hair is selected.

Beard is not selected

Mustache is not selected

    Facial Hair has not yet been included in the detection models. We plan to add that at a future date.  We are continuing to add to and improve detection models with each release. Refinement tools are available for you to add to or subtract from the detected mask.
