I cannot update LR to a version which I have on m laptop. Laptop has 15.4, home computer has 15.3.1 and Creative Could is not capable to find the V15.4 and to update my main version. Thus a catalog exported with photography on the road cannot be imported to the main workstation.

I have to go this route because “REPORT A BUG” does not exist. It only shows an empty page.
My message is regarding a bug report “Import from another catalog.”
When I import from another catalog, Lightroom ignores existing photos (I am trying to merge catalogs) and created an avalanche of photos with the same name and suffix name-2.nef.
But not always. In another case LR recognized the photos and opened an option to copy new setting only, and asked if to create virtual copies of modified Images.

Could someone please files a bug like that so we can talk about the issue?

PS: I even filed a BBB complaint about Adobe about this cryptic, barricaded access to filing a bug. Totally not-American, if I may say so.

All (or most) of the Adobe forums have been wedged sinced very early Fri morning, not allowing users to create new posts --  you can only reply to existing posts:

Adobe community managers were notified yesterday about this (in case they didn’t already know about the problem).

You should be able to create new topics again, including bug reports (I just posted a bug report).

I received a message about four ago from a community manager saying they were working on it.

    Hi,

I have issues exporting images that have been masked or altered and un able to Denoise… both these issued encounter an un expected issue window to appear,,

I am unable to see the new version of LRC 15.4.1 as an available option in my CC update section.

    I currently have 15.3.1 and CR 18.3

    Anyone experiencing this ??

I still don’t see the 15.4 or 15.4.1 update available on CC.  Am running 15.2.1 now due to mutec deadlock issue I had with 15.3, so hoping 15.4 fixes that.  when will i be able to update?

Is there a timeline for the 15.4 to be fixed and re-released?

It is good to see that a new update has been released. However, I utilise a single catalogue across two machines, and the recent update has caused the software versions to become mismatched. As a result, I am now unable to access the same catalogue on both devices.

Could you please advise when version 15.4 will be rolled out to all machines, particularly for MacBook Pro users with a current version of 15.3.1?

I was able to go back to the older camera raw (13.2) but had to download from third party site. Installed, restarted Lightroom and can now AI denoise again.

So is there any actual timetable on when this will be fixed?

Just “ASAP”. They’ll ship it as soon as they possibly can, and they (or I) will update this thread so you know to go looking for it.

This is insane so I have work to do and now I can’t because there is no way to install 15.4  and no way or any kind of link to revert back to the old camera raw. Way blow to blow it adobe. Just leave us all hanging.

To roll back, open the CC App from the System Tray (Windows) / Menu Bar (Mac). Click the three next to Lightroom or Lightroom Classic’s Open button and select Other Versions. Select 15.3.1 from the list.

As the catalog has been upgraded, it will not be compatible with the older Lightroom version, so you’ll need to restore the pre-upgrade catalog. It won’t include any new photos you’ve added or any editing you’ve done since upgrading.

    1. Zip up the upgraded *.lrcat and *.lrcat-data files or move them into a subfolder. (You may decide to restore them if rolling back doesn’t solve the problem.)

    2. Find your pre-upgrade catalog in the Old Lightroom Catalogs folder next to your working catalog.

    3. Double-click on the zip file to open the backup.

    4. Copy the backup *.lrcat and *.lrcat-data files to your normal catalog location.

    5. Double-click on the *.lrcat file to open it.

    6. If everything’s now working correctly, you can import any recent photos and re-do any edits that were done since the upgrade.
