Panorama Merge 2 stops darker

On my M1MacBook Pro (using macOS Monterey 12.5), when merging images to a panorama in the latest Lighteroom Classic (V 11.5) the resulting image is around 2 stops darker thant the original elements, requiring a +2 stop exposure boost in the Develop Module to bring the panorama imge even close to the density or exposure of the original component images. Has anyone else had this problem? I use the "merge to panorama" function all the time and am very familiar with how it works, and how it should work.

Auto Settings seems to take the white edges into account, and so images like these will be too dark, unless you use one of the options to eliminate the edges (auto crop, boundary warp, fill edges). Or don't use Auto Settings.

Identical setup here. M1 MBP Pro Max, 64GB ram. Merged 5 or 6 45MP D850 images, two different sets. I'm not seeing your issue at all.

Is this unique to a source that has Apple Camera RAW?

Looking at your profile selection makes me ask that.

Same camera as in the past?

I assume that while you shared an image of the merge screen, that had you posted the merged image, it also would have the issue?
