Panorama Options in Lightroom Classic vs Lightroom

I’m coming back to the Adobe Photography Program after a couple of years using Capture One.

As I recall, there were some minor differences between the Panorama options between LrC and Lr (Spherical, Cylindrical and Perspective).  Namely Perspective didn’t always work well on Lr.  True?

I’m trying to decide which version of Lightroom to go with.
