Question

Panorama - re-edit

I edited my photos but wasn't that happy after comparing to jpegs so I'm redoing them. (I had removed the pics from Lightroom.)

I had done a few merged panoramas which show up in the library when I re-entered the folder. So I can edit the panorama but it isn't cropped and I can't see a way to apply the autocrop. Can this be done or do I have to start again with the panorama?

As mentions you can do this in PS using  the Warp tool (Edit> Transform> Warp).

Checkout the 'Adaptive Wide Angle' filter too. With that filter you can even straighten the curved lines of the building.

I had removed the pics from Lightroom.

That is bad news. There would be very few reasons to ever remove photos from the Lightroom catalog.

    Crop again as stated above.

Re-doing the Lightroom 'Merge to Panorama' will be the only way to get the "Boundary Warp" feature, unless you want to send the panorama to Photoshop for content aware fill.

Well, I just don't like cluttering up my PC. Once I've processed photos I rarely go back and redit them. Storing raw files takes up a lot of space so I end up saving the Jpegs once processed and get rid of all the extra files and folders. I've found a free program from Microsoft that does panoramas well, so I'm using that now.

Auto Crop is nothing more than the Crop Tool applied automatically. So go to the Develop Module, select the Crop Tool and crop it the way you want it. There is no difference.

The autocrop can only be applied when the panorama is first created. However, it is still possible for you to manipulate the crop using the standard crop tools and achieve the same results.
