Paper choices for printing in Lightroom classic

In the print module of Lightroom Classic if I go to printer properties I only get two choices for paper:  glossy and matt, and I print with luster.  What is going on?

See: http://creativepro.com/out-of-gamut-thoughts-a-sharpening-workflow/

The is the sharpening basis for LR (and from PhotoKit Sharpener) whereby you instruct the software which of the two papers you're using so the output sharpening (which is based on capture sharpening, size of the print, resolution) is applied. You only need these two general options applied for the output sharpening to be used, again based upon the paper type.

I think you are referring to the Print Sharpening options. For luster paper, you should use the sharpening options set to "glossy" and also set the amount to "low," "standard" or "high."  You may have to experiment to find what works best for you, and the amount may depend on your image content, as well as how much sharpening you've applied earlier in your workflow.

As others have commented above, the exact paper profiles for color management are set in the Color Management section just below Print Sharpening

Are you using the icc profiles or selecting managed by printer, the latter being a major mistake.

If the printer you are using supports icc paper profiles then you should install profiles supplied by the paper manufacturer. There is usually a sheet of instructions included with the paper that tells you what paper type to choose in the printer driver dialog, and then in the LrC print module you will be able to choose the exact profile for the paper you are using.
