Performance problem with LRClassic and Apple 5K Studio Display

I just added an Apple 5K Studio Display to my configuration and LR Classic performance is very slow.   Long lag time between making an edit and it showing up on my screen.   I'm using a  Macbook Pro 2019 (Intel chip), which is listed as compatible with the Studio Display.   I have never had performance issues before.   I do not have performance issues with Photoshop on this display.  

I have all the latest software and firmware versions installed. 

Anyone else have this problem,
