Question

Photo edits in Develop not showing in large image, only in thumbnail.

Hi, Happy Sunday!

LrC Version 12.4, Camera Raw 15.4

Windows 10

Had to reinstall LrC and deal with corrupted catalog today. Thought all was good to go, but now, when I try to edit in Develop, the edits are only showing in the small thumbnail, not the larger edit window. See the second attachment.

I read some threads about similar problems, and the GPU seemed to be the culprit. Coincidentally, I received an error today about my GPU when I tried the new 'denoise' feature. I see that my GPU has been 'disabled due to error' when I look up my preferences (see first attachment). How should I proceed?

The MX130 was released in 2017 so it's not all that old - but it only has 2GB VRAM, which may be insufficient. Lightroom uses VRAM extensively.

If this is a laptop with dual GPUs, you may need to completely disable the integrated Intel GPU. The two GPUs tend to conflict. This is a well known problem in Photoshop, and I would assume also in Lightroom. Laptops are really problematic nowadays, because they all come with dual GPUs.

And then of course, also update the driver.

Thanks for your response. So would you try to update the driver before
anything else?
