Photography plan for LR on 2 computers

I have had the Adobe Photography Plan (20Gb) since 2018, and had LR itself since version 1 came out.  I have thousands of photos in my LR library.  I recently purchased a second computer.  I know my plan allows for LR and PS to be installed on both.  However, I have a question...

Can I have different photos on each computer, and NOT have them shared in the LR library?  My thought is to keep my professional photos on one computer, and my family photos on the second.  I simply do not want everything syncing from one computer to the other since this is under the same plan.  Is this doable?

Thanks!

Also-  If you want to sync to the cloud eventually (you WILL one day!)- only One catalog can be synced, so you would need to decide which computer has the catalog that 'syncs', family or professional.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.0, Photoshop 27.0, ACR 18.0, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0 .

Actually, after 50+ years of photography (half of that as a pro), I used to keep my film separated this way... and know I would love to keep my digital pro vs family 100% separated... hence the second computer.  But that is excellent info for anyone else reading this thread.  Thank you!
