Photomerge [end result not being displayed]

Hi all - I've been using lightroom for quite sometime. Recently I had a computer issue and had to re install lightroom. When I photomerge 5 images it goes thru the merge process. But doesnt show me the merged photo. Usually it shows up within the images I merge. now it does not! I can see it go thru the merge process but it doesnt dispaly the end result. Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on with this? Any help would be appreciatged.

Thanks for the replies, I didn't have any filters on. I ended up opening and closing lightroom and they showed up. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated!

Check that you do not have an active filter, or are in a smart collection, that filters out the resulting DNG file. For example because it filters on raw only.

Sometimes it is the sort order has changed and the new photo appears at the bottom of the list of photos you are looking at. at Try changing the sort order so that the files sort by capture time or by file name. Go to View->Sort and change it to see if the photo shows up.
