Question

Photos appear different in Library mode vs Develop mode

LR version: 11.5

Mac OS version: 13.0

Entire catalog looks different in Library mode than they do in Develop mode. The version in Develop mode is what should be correct, but once exported, the file looks like the image from Library mode. I’ve tried resetting settings and re-applying them but it also happens to files that have been edited in Photoshop and don’t have any further adjustments applied. The photos look more saturated in Library mode vs Develop mode. This even applies to older photos.

The difference is slight but when using the program for color accurate photos for clients, it has been problematic when delivering finals to clients.

Fully aware this MAY be a result of the Ventura beta, but hoping to bring some awareness so that it gets resolved with the next software update from Adobe.

Yes, its Ventura beta to some degree (reported before, nothing we can do to help you; it's a beta OS).

Develop and Library can look slightly different as they use differing preview architecture. And always compare at 1:1 anywhere. But  it sounds like your big issue is Ventura as a few others have reported here and again, until it is officially released, there's nothing you can do but report this to Apple.
