Photos crashing in Develop (Lightroom 12.5) on a hi-spec MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.5.2

The most recent photo imports (but not previous imports) are crashing the moment I take any action in Develop and I have to command-X to retrieve the photo. I'd love to fix this asap; any ideas most welcome.

This should be moved to the Classic forum - not the Lightroom Cloudy. OP is using Classic. No idea what could be causing this. I have a similar high end M1 Max MBP and no issues like described. I would suspect antivirus software or permissions issues at the import location.
