plan question/RAW mode [Unable to open Canon Rebel T6 Raw files in LR6]

I have a Canon Rebel and Lightroom 6 software.  It does not support RAW mode for my camera.  I am wondering if doing a plan update will support RAW mode with my camera so I can view/edit images, and want to make for sure that it will before doing the upgrade.

    The Canon Rebel is not a single model, it’s a series. There are many Canon Rebel models, so which one do you have?

    Yes I know that there are more than one model.  Mine is an EOS Rebel T6.
