Don't stop at macOS 12.3.1, go to 12.5.1.
First year versions of macOS are unstable and prone to problems in the middle of the version.

Agreeing that it is either a driver malfunction or a hardware malfunction. If it happens because of long use, check the cooling system and see if the computer feels hot, to make sure the computer is being cooled properly. (Of course it could be many other things)

Hi, sorry about the trouble there. A system crash is usually attributed to a low level driver failuer or a hardware issue. It would be helpful if you could go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System info & share the info with us here.

Also, please try updating Lightroom Classic to the latest version (11.5) to check if it makes a difference.

Regards,

Nikunj
