Plug in results not being saved back to Lightroom

I'm seeing a new issue on macOS Monterey with Lightroom 12.3.

 

Open an image in a plug-in, make some edits, close / apply.

 

The resulting modified image is not being returned to Lightroom.

 

Occurs with two different vendor plug-ins. One reports an inability to save, the other happily proceeds.

 

The one that reports an issue doesn't produce a new tif copy of the image. Whereas the one that happily proceeds creates a new image, but it has no modifications applied.

 

Tested on a Ventura build and it is working as expected (but that's not the computer I use for photos).

 

All Silicon Macs used.

Turned out to be a Security and Privacy settings. I'm pretty sure that when things were working properly several months ago - plug-ins were saving without issue. 

 

When I checked each app requesting Full Disk Access they were all turned off.

 

My current theory is that a possible reinstall or update might have reset the permissions settings. All plug-ins failed to provide any meaningful error dialog that might have helped check this.
