plugins lighttroom

I installed topaz sharepn a1 now when i go to 'edit in" my plugins are only in gray and i can not open them

External editors (such as Photoshop) require Lightroom-Classic to have a link to the original file in your computer system.

If the image to edit-in topaz is -1) Marked as Missing, 2) On a drive not connected, 3) exists in the Library only as a Smart Preview, then LrC cannot pass the file onto the external editor. This will result in the greyed-out menu item.
