Is posting from Windows to Instagram possible? And how?

As far as I know, there is no way to post directly to Instagram from within Lightroom Classic.

You can export the photos, then use something like Blue Stacks (an Android emulator) to upload your photos to Instagram from the hard disk.

Yes there is now way to directly export from LRC to IG from your computer but if you want to stay all withing lightroom you can add your photos to a synchonised collection, then use lightroom application from your smartphone to share the photos from the sync collection to instagram.

BTW you can add photos to IG from your computer browser by changing it's user agent once in the IG website (there are extensions doing that nicely)

lrinstagram seems not to work anymore

from their website:

Service Note: Instagram has updated their protocol and currently plugin does not work.
We are investigating the issue and the plugin will be updated when a fix is available.

Yeah that is correct. I forgot about that. The only way to directly post from Lightroom is on a mobile device now. You can use an emulated phone or have your browser pretend to be a mobile device but none of these are direct. The lr/instagram plugin was really good. Unfortunate that instagram keeps finding ways to block these very useful tools.

Is this a Lightroom Classic question?

Yes, I'm trying to figure out if I can post directly to Instagram from LR
