Power Line Removal

I noramlly do  not have problems removing power lines in the sky. 

But on one photo, the heal or clone brush turns the black line into a white line. 

The photo was taken during the Golden Hour, so the sky is blue, with clouds, and has gold tones in some of the clouds. 

Tried to mask the sky and blow out the colors, eliminate the power lines and then return it to the original to no va

I might also suggest-

Do ALL your Spotting, Healing & Cloning on the image BEFORE you use the Mask panel to adjust Sky, etc.

eg. If you were to darken a sky in masking, then try to remove the power lines you are left with a 'ghost' of the original base layer (if I can call it that!)

 

Spot BEFORE the mask-

 

Apply Masks AFTER Spotting.

Thanks, that did the trick.

I process a lot of photos, so I have my workflow pretty set.

Your suggestion of changing my workflow did the trick. Although the end
result was different than before, I did manage to remove the power lines.
