Question

preset migration using CC?

I just bought a new computer. I use LR Classic. Isn't there a way using my Creative Cloud account to migrate LR presets and profiles from the old to the new rather than copy/paste using an external drive? Windows/PC.

You do not need an external drive, but you will need to Copy & Paste using the Creative Cloud Files Folder that you will find in Windows File Explorer. Then the files will be available to all systems connected to your CC Account.

I store a 'backup' of my Lightroom 'Settings' in Creative Cloud Files.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.4.1, Photoshop 27.8, ACR 18.4, Lightroom 9.4, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .

Unfortunately not.

The quickest and easiest way to transfer the presets, templates, etc from one computer to another is to copy the Lightroom folder at C: \ Users \ [my username] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ Lightroom to the new computer. If the folder already exists on the new computer, then delete it. Your presets are actualy stored in the Camera Raw folder at C: \ Users \ [my username] \ AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ CameraRaw (note that there's no space between Camera and Raw) Again, you simply copy/paste it to the same location on the new computer.

Nope, not to my knowledge.
