Presets Say They're Imported But They Don't Show Up

My client sent me a few new presets to use on her photos. She exported them the same way she did before, and sent me the XMP files. I imported them but they don't show up. When I try to import again, it tells me they have already been imported. But like I said, they are not showing up to me. When I right click and select "show in finder", I can see a long list of all of my presets that I have in Lightroom, including the new ones. When I right click and view in text edit, it tells me the group they are supposedly in, however, that group is not showing up to me in Lightroom- and neither are the presets. I don't know what to do to get these to show up!
