Presets wont work

HI guys!

I am new to Lightroom and just downloaded the new Lightroom Classic CC. I am trying to apply downloaded presets to my pictures, I have imported them as instructed from youtube videos but they wont apply to my photo. Even the presets that originally were in Lightroom when I first got it won't work. Black and white etc.. Nothing when I click on it. :(( Does anyone know why this is happening? Would appreciate help :)!!

Same issue. Has anyone found a solution? Uninstalling/Reinstall and Resetting Preferences does not work.

Please go to the 'Help - System Info' menu, and post the first few lines you see there (you can post a screenshot). No need to post the whole text, just the first 10 lines or so is enough.

Hi Isabella,

If you select a photo while in the Develop module and run you mouse over the Lightroom presets in the left hand column do you see the image preview changing in the navigator panel at the top of the column?

If you can't see anything changing try resetting your preferences: How to set Lightroom Classic CC preferences

Let us know if that helps.

Regarding why the presets won't work... can you select a photo > go the Develop module > select a develop preset > right-click on top of the preset to show the pop-up menu and capture a screen shot that shows the entire window from left to right - top to bottom. With the Navigator expanded.
