Preview Unavailable - Sony A7R5

Hi All - Previews are unavailable and when I go to import files from my A7RV it says import operations were not performed and that the files appear to be damaged or corrupted.

I assume this is because the recent LR update doesn't support the A7RV but I could be wrong. Anyone have an idea of how to solve this issue or how long Adobe takes to release an update for the A7RV?

The other explanation is that the files are damaged and can't be read. This could be a bad camera card (most likely possibility) although bad hardware (card reader, hard disk malfunction, etc.) could also cause this.

Of course the latest update supports the Sony A7RV. Once a camera is supported, any update supports it too. I have no problems importing images or videos from that camera. Check that Lightroom Classic has a the permissions it needs. Maybe the update did reset that. See Quick Tips: How to give Full Disk Access to Lightroom Classic on macOS

Thanks Johan! Will have a look now.

The files upload on my other computer which is running the older software, so a permission issue could be the fix.
