Previews in Lightroom Classic are extremely dark and orange

I've contacted Adobe support for this and they are absolutely no help.

I have a Dell XPS laptop and every photo I import into Lightroom (RAW or JPEG) looks extremely dark and orange. Same image outside of Lightroom looks normal. After export it looks way brighter and less orange. I've done everything I can possibly think of. Updated Windows, updated graphics drivers, tried Intel UHD graphics instead of the 3050 Ti, tried newest version of Lightroom Classic and version 11.0, turned off graphics acceleration and turned it back on, new catalog, tried different color profiles, checked import settings.

Camera is a Canon EOS R6.

Any ideas?

I gave up and reinstalled Windows. Completely fixed the issue. Thanks so much for all the tips. I will revisit this thread if I ever have this problem again.

It sounds like something is being applied on Import. As with @Ian Lyons it could be the default raw settings, or a preset appiled in the import dialog. What happens if you click hold down Alt in Develop and press Reset on the bottom right?

@Sean McCormack Sean, the Camera Default reset by holding [Alt] with [Reset] in Develop module  is long gone. The Import Default is in Preferences as described by @Ian Lyons

Monitor 'Display Profile' would be my guess at the OPs problem.

Some other checks that may identify reason:

1. Have you tried changing the display profile to sRGB?

2. Have you checked that a camera default preset is not being applied? You can check in the LrC Preferences > Presets tab (see attached screesnhot)

If above doesn't help, then please upload a screenshot of LrC in Grid view. A screenshot is preferred as a photo of the UI taken with a smart phone, etc rarely contains the info we need.

Uploading a copy of your System Info would also be helpful. You can access same from the LrC Help > System Info menu item.
