Previews Problems

My previews and the bottom are grayed out and when I try to do a full screen preview it does the same thing. I tried following the tips on the adobe support page but it doesn't work. Also I tried uninstalling lightroom classic and re-installing it and still doesn't work. Someone help me please!!! the support page keeps sending me to the same place and is not giving me and option to talk to somebody.

It is possible the Previews cache is corrupt.

The link from Johnrellis above tells how to delete the Previews folder that will allow Lightroom to re-build a new Previews cache.

BUT- You must have the original photo files available for Lightroom to read as it re-builds the Previews.

Are the files shown as 'Missing' on the grey thumbnails?

Are the files on a hard-drive that is not connected?

Another possibility is a problematic Monitor Profile- You could check this by the methods here- https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-change-my-monitor-profile-to-check-whether-its-corrupted/

I followed the steps on the website you sent me and it worked, I guess the issue was the new monitor I added to my PC. Thank you guys for all your help! I really appreciate it!!

Are you referring to this help article: Lightroom error on preview cache or displays gray thumbnails

Try disabling the GPU by unchecking the option Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor.
