Print Color Accuracy

After updating to the most recent version of LR Classic (7.0.1) my prints no longer have accurate color.
I am an experienced printer, and have ruled out problems with the printer itself (Epson 3880).
Has anyone had similar issues and can offer suggestions?

Thanks.

Good point. I got that monster update, too. The problem could be display calibration rather than LR/printer calibration. Unfortunately the update was coincident with a new computer for me, so I can't check whether it unset my existing calibration. Seems worth a look.

I don't know what operating system you are using. I'm using Windows 10. I recently had one of those "major" updates from Microsoft that takes an extraordinary amount of time to install. Whenever I get one of these it seems that my monitor settings get completely reset. I have a very simplified monitor setup, just using the Intel graphics interface. I don't have a dedicated graphics card. The point of this is that I learned quite a while ago to save my own custom profile so that whenever Microsoft pulls this stunt I can always change back to my profile. When I do that I find that the printer still matches as it should. I don't know if this could be your situation or not.

Thanks for your most recent comments, but I'm using iOS, and haven't updated it in several months. I've checked  out the printing with another computer and its fine. There is something going on since the LR update. My monitor is calibrated.

Strange. If you post screenshots of your settings, I'd be happy to be a second set of eyeballs, but I wouldn't expect to find anything. Switching to printer-managed color still seems like a worthy baseline test. Hate to waste precious ink though!

Have you checked all the printing defaults? My guess is that, in the upgrade, LR lost track of some setting. For example, if you have LR managing color, but the Epson print driver no longer is set to "ICM Off," things will go horribly wrong.

There's nothing in the 7.1 release notes about print color profiling. New features summary for the October 2017 and later releases of Lightroom Classic CC

I think you are correct, that LR lost track of something. I've checked the Epson print driver and all the other settings multiple times and can't find anything wrong. I let LR manage color using a Epson paper profile. The correct media type is selected, etc.

Is there a way to reset these LR parameters, perhaps to the first version of LR classic? I wasn't having any problems with it.

I don't know a way to reset. As an experiment, it might be worth switching to printer-managed color in LR and the print driver, and see what happens.

The actual version of Lightroom at the moment is 7.1. Please install the update and try once more.

Are there known print issues with 7.0.1?
