Print preview blank, even when photo is selected

I'm having trouble printing from Lighroom Classic. When I select a photo and go to print mode, the preview shows the template borders, but not the image I selected (as shown). If I click "print" it only spits out a blank page.

I have version LrC 11.5 on MacOs Catalina 10.15.7

(Not able to update anymore because my mac is too old for the latest Big Sur update)

I can print from other programs, so it's not the printer causing trouble.

I am having same issue, sure I used to get the picture in preview ! also my printer is printing blanks have you had any luck solving?

Ignore that preview. Like @Rob_Cullen explained, that isn't a print preview, it is a template preview. If you think you remember seeing the image in there, then you remember that wrongly. Think of it: Having a small print preview would be rather useless, because the main window already shows you the printed page.

The problem that you printer spits out blank pages is something else. I don't have an answer for you either, but if you Google "Lightroom prints blank page" then you will find quite a number of hits, so this seems to be a common problem. Do remember that this is most likely dependent on what printer you use (and what printer driver), so perhaps you should add that in your search too.

That is correct. The 'Preview' will only ever show the Print Template. Not the photo as you would see in a Navigator panel. ie. It is a Template Preview- not a Print preview.

A "blank Page" is another problem- someone else may have an answer.

Edit- More thought!- Photo is synced and Sync is in progress.

Will the photo print if sync has finished downloading?

Thanks, good to know the preview isn't supposed to show the selected photo! That it's syncing in the background has never been a problem previously.

The main problem is that anything I try to print from LrC ends up with the printer spitting out blank pages. I can print from other programs + my phone just fine.
