Printer Profiles missing

Question

Why do the printer profiles keep disappearing. It's a pain to have to locate them, download and reinstall them every time there is an update!

What's the easiest way to install them and keep them installed?! Just trying to find them on the Canon sight can be a pain in th A@@

I'm using an iMac with Catlalina

LrC does not to the best of my knowledge, install, modify, update, or remove printer profiles. The printer profiles are not a part of the LrC code other than it knowing where they are supposed to be located on your computer.

Printer profiles are installed either by installing/updating or reinstalling printer drivers. AND by downloading and placing in the correct location printer profiles from various sources (printer mfg, paper supplier, third party)

So the question is, what is deleting the profiles, (if that is occurring)

Inquiry: Where they deleted? Or did somehow LrC not see them? Or are they not selected to be viewable?
