Printing problems with Epson SC-P800

I am printing from an Apple computer, running OS 10.12, and using Lightroom CC to print. The image runs off the left side of the page. The printer does not seem to recognize the settings in the Print module, where I have set margins to be 1 inch or larger. On the left side of the paper, I have about an eighth of an inch border and the image is shifted over, with some of the image missing. Paper size is set correctly both in LR and also on the screen on the printer.

Thank you in advance if you can help!

Cheryl

I am having the same problem with the EpsonP800, using LR Classic. I printed a test print at A5 which was fine. I am now trying to print the same image at 13x19" but despite the small screen on the printer itself, the current settings and the page layout all set now to 13x19", the print preview window still shows the small A5 image.

I'm having this problem with the Epson SC P-800, too. It prints beautifully but has frequent problems printing the size and orientation chosen in the software (Lightroom Classic or Photoshop CC) print dialog box. First it was just with Photoshop CC but I could print correctly with Lightroom Classic. But now it is happening in Lightroom Classic, too. I have spent hours with Epson with no resolution. They said that because it printed in Lightroom correctly but not in Photoshop, it wasn't a printer problem. However now it is a problem in both. I've have used Lightroom, Photoshop and In Design with the Epson 3880 for 10 years with no problems of this kind. It's very irritating. Also, why would the settings on the printer ever override the settings chosen in the printer dialog box? Why are there even settings which have the possibility of overriding the printer settings?

Start from scratch, create a NEW virgin Print Template, configure ALL the settings for printing for both the Epson print driver, page setup and all LR settings. Save that as a new template. Then test again.

Also never use an Epson Preset in the driver, that is all saved in the template. Persets: Default should be seen in the Epson driver dropdown at the top.

Hello, Adobe. Are you listening? Add me to the list of people with printer problems. It used to work just fine, but now when I use 13x19 paper (adjusting the paper size in both LR and on the printer), the printed image is way offset. I'm now printing in PS, and that works fine.

I'm running high sierra on a Mac and the latest Epson driver and firmware.

I am having the same problem now attempting to print from Mac OS 10.12.6 from either Photoshop CS6 or Cloud whatever.  Neither will work.  Apple Preview works fine!

Hi Cheryl, I had this problem too on my P800. The problem was caused by the fact that I had a specific paper size defined on the printer itself, which was larger than the actual piece of paper I was using. Once I set the right paper size on the printer, it worked correctly. What I would like to know is why the paper size settings specified in LightRoom doesn't override the paper size set on the printer. I hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem, I check to make sure the sizes are

concordant. It is frustrating that in many ways the printer does not obey

the computer commands. I switched to Photoshop for now...thanks for

providing a solution - maybe there is some paper size setting elsewhere

    that I need to check.

I'm having a similar problem with the P800.

I haven't printed in a while and suddenly I can't get the image to align correctly on the page.

I've been happily printing for years and this has me stumped.

I select 5x7 in LR and landscape and the image gets flipped to portrait & stays as portrait even when I start rotating, changing aspect... nothing is working!

Downloaded the latest Epson driver and the problem persists.

    Any clues?
